I said that mostly in jest. Sometimes you can identify someone as an aggressive blind stealer from LP and still stack off with AQ vs. their QQ, shit happens. PA HUD won't save you from everything, but if you're 3-betting AQ against a 20% PFRing button with 35% Attempt to Steal, you will usually have the best hand.

So I've been lurking for a while reading yalls posts and really enjoy them.

I play a little bit with some buddies and one of this gave me $25 on Poker Stars for a birthday present so I am about to start that here this weekend probably. What advice for beginning Poker Players (especially online) would yall give? (Mainly NLHE or PLHE)

I don't quite know all the lingo yall use but I love the percentages and general discussion yall talk about. I realize that there will always be crazy wins/beats too.

Play $10 nl tables, buy in with $6 each to start, play 2 at a time. You will not be as bored. If you are going to play, raise. Play tight, bet when you have it, don't get cute and try to check raise. Be careful of continuation raises when you miss, don't get committed to hands. People will play low suited connectors to try and catch people. Don't fall in love with top pair top kicker.

I just DL'd the pokertracker..I like it. Just out of curiosity what sort of BB/100 is solid for .25/.50 and .50/1. Like I said just got it today so i'm sure variance is def not taking care of til prolly 5000 hands or so. But I was thinking for one tabling... 3-4 BB/100 would be solid?
