Saw a GT3 off capital the other day... Talked to the dude. He pulled over to the side b/c the ground clearance on the thing is so low, he was scratching and tearin up the front lip while drivin around on Capital, so he was taking it off. I would just like to say that I hate the 911. porsche has been milking that one for too long, and there's only so much future to it. I'd take a cayman over a 911 any day. the engine belongs inside the wheelbase, 30 years of refining or no.

I have a very narrow scope of taste when it comes to cars (C5 Z06, 996/997 GT3, 944 Turbo S, WRX STi and EVO as well as e36 and e46 M3s are some of the very few cars I could ever be happy with) and I would love to own either (or both) of those 911s if I had the money/space for a few more cars.

Sorry to ramble like this, but let me tell you something else, it would be a lot harder to hate 911s if you had the pleasure of driving one hard, trail braking it, getting corner exit just right... There aren't many things in life that are more satisfying.

Bitch please! The 911 has the perfect driving position, and has more cargo capacity than anything that can perform on the same level. Plus, nothing can touch it in braking due to the weight distribution.

The 911 is up on a pedestal way above everyone else, and it will always be that way.

I realize this is a little late in the thread, but I have driven a Lotus Elise and I would take a S2000 over it anyday. Prior to test driving it, I was planning on buying it, but after the test drive I just decided it was a waste of money.
