Because my objective is to assist my son in bwning a girl and him likely doing something stupid like getting a girl pregnant.

Should target that ad at another market, like the blue-collar "I totally think I just got a fast car with cool features for cheap" market.

Most parents interested in buying their kids a car sure as hell aren't going to buy them something cool.

K maybe it's just me but I'm not sure if a truck with that much damage is gonna be worth $5k. Could you even repair that for less than you'd pay for a similar used and not-totally-fucking-destroyed model?

And he posted this which has less miles, is newer, and appears to have less damage (there are still two front wheels, that's a marked improvement) and it's the same price.

Yeah, that's definitely a Chinese replica of a 1938 BMW R71, probably from the 1970s. Parts are plentiful though, and the russians have been making Ural/Dnepr clones of that bike ever since WWII. If it was cheaper with a title I might pick it up just for the experience of working on one.

These neo-nazis crack me up:

Jesse, don't do it. I bet you he's got more than a hundred grand under the hood of that car

we've had 4 tauruses go through my family. at one time, my mom, my aunt, and my granny all had 1 each. biggest thing we ever had to do was put a whole fucking steering rack in my aunt's. none of those 4 were that generation taurus, though. so i really don't know about that one, man. my aunt's also developed a small oil leak from somewhere, but i forget where it was coming from. my mom and my granny didn't have any issues at all. my mom drove the shit out of hers and i'm sure it didn't get serviced like it should've. the paint went to shit on it, but that was it.

if i were you, i'd want somebody to pull a wheel or two off and check brakes, ball joints, etc. and i don't even have a jack up here.

^ That ad has it all. Little man syndrome, overpriced junk, and unmatched cheapness. How you going to try to sell a truck for $48k and be too cheap to put a new CD player in to replace the "radio" that got stolen?
