Does anyone know if I can get a D40 to shoot at the continuous frame rate using the remote?

I'm working on making a waterproof case for mine and I'm trying to figure out if I want to use the remote to trigger it on the shutter button. I can mount the remote so it would be really easier to use than the shutter button but I I don't think I can get the continuous with the remote.

Cool. I like the last shot best - the concept and expression are good together.

Brought the SLR out for the first time in a long time in an effort to start shooting actively again. Here's a couple of shots of my son at Bathtime last night.

Figure the editing, I'm a little rusty and the color was not what I wanted.

More than likely. The Camera is an Original Canon 1D and probably 7 years old, the lens is about 10 and I don't think I've had either one cleaned since I got them.

I use it for work sometimes, I may see if they will fork up the costs of getting it cleaned.

Thanks Ronny, I'm glad someone thinks I know what I'm doing.

I hope to start getting the camera out of the house eventually, but for now, he's more of my kid and wife.

what program(s) do you guys use for editing? We just take pictures and post them, sometimes we'll crop them but thats about the extent of our touching up. I'm sure we have some pictures of our daughter that would look a lot better if we cleaned them up and edited them a little

CS4 if i do any editing. usually it's just to crop a picture or adjust a color level. i just try and get my pictures right straight out of camera so i'm not very good at using editing software.

i think Joie uses photoscape for real simple edits also. she likes it for the filter effects, but it's nothing you'd use for really involved edits.

I find Gimp gets the job done if all you're trying to do is adjust the colors (gamma, saturation, contrast/brightness, ect).

I use Lightroom for 99% of my editing. It's usually nothing more than a crop or correcting white balance but it's great for saturation, B&W, and mild cleaning up as well. It's a workflow program though which is why I like it. It's much easier to go through a group of photos in it than in PS. It keeps me from having to use PS unless I want to do HDR or panorama or really serious editing work where I need to clone something out.

Na, I haven't found a way. I need to spend some time and actually work on the case now. Just using the shutter button will have to do.

Helped out with some painted bunting work last week.

A little shot from one of my favorite places. As crooked as it looks, it's actually level.

Took my Canon 24-105mm L to Peace to have a broken filter removed. They clumsily removed filter with pliers, digging into the lens rim in the process, leaving two needle-nose size gouges. This is a $1000 lens that was damaged more after I had them work on it than before I brought it in - is there any recourse?
