I'm not following you around, Bobby, I was browsing down the page and when I saw that book I asked myself, "Who the fuck would read this and then go on to say it's a 'great read'?" Of course, I wasn't surprised when I saw it was you, true.

Over Christmas/New Year's I read The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx and Born Standing Up by Steve Martin. Now, I'm reading Chris Jericho's autobiography (it was a Christmas present).

I was in Barnes and Noble today and they had Oryx and Crake and Black Swan Green in hardcover on the bargain racks for five or six bucks each.

Either one would end up being the best five bucks you'd spend that week.

Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time.

All 6 glorious books of it.

The vast majority of its 3,000 pages.

^^^I plan on reading that soon. It's suppose to be an extension on some of his ideas in Fooled by Randomness, which I have read and really enjoyed. I don't know if it's necessary to read that first, but I can tell you it's good, and if you like, you'll probably be interested in reading The Black Swan afterward.

Read it this past week. It was pretty good. For anybody who's read the Foundation series, Asimov's detective novels with Daneel Olivaw are pretty neat.

Lolita not as good as you expected?

How is that possible? Were you expecting some form of divine miracle?
