I have a solution to this whole mess:

make everyone involved (the black kids, white kids, the princpal, the DA, everyone involved) do 200 hours of community service a piece.

Then after that, the first one to hang up a noose, make a threat, use a racist word (either way), or throw a punch gets the book thrown at them.

They already tried that. After escalating violence between blacks and whites stemming from the noose incident, the police department asked the DA to talk to the student body during an assembly. The DA told the whole school that the next person to break the law would have the book thrown at them. In his words, "Wth one stroke of my pen, I can make your life disappear." Of course he threw the book at the 6 black kids, and the black community cried foul.

PS you can't throw the book at someone for using a racist word. Freedom of speech FTW.

us asians didn't go barging in on the "redneck" hangout area next to the coke machines, and they didn't come barging in on our spot between our two main high school buildings. if either group did, then what else can you call it but an intent to start a fight?
