I think a good idea to stop shit like this is if a judge declares a suit frivolous that the plantiff and thier attorney are liable for the costs of the defense, including compensation of work missed.

But you gotta expect shit like this in a country that has 5% of the worlds population, over 70% of the worlds lawyers, and 94% of the lawsuits.

They should reimburse her.

Give her $70,000, give her the extra $2,000 (and lol a little bit because it's better than the interest and inflation-adjusted figure a slightly smarter person would ask for).

Then,

Revoke her degree and invalidate all of her credit-hours, thus completing the refund she wants. I would further recommend apologizing to current students and recent graduates and appointing some kind of internal review committee to make recommendations for curriculum improvements to kind of prop up the perceived validity of a degree from that institution.

Right. Saying that certain cultural practices are associated with a particular culture isn't racist.
However, suggesting that a particular culture or cultural practice necessarily determines race, is undeniably racist.
