^yep, what he said, Time Warners service just sucks. My old apt used to have that problem all the time, signal strength was just too weak for hd most of the time.

my signal strength is about as perfect as it can be (no, it's not overmodulating either) and i still have these problems

i thought it was because i was using cablecards + tuning adapter with a tivo.
