I called out the guy who added Tracy and Zo to the group and he took them off. People like this are why fanbases get bad reputations. The guy who started this group has a profile picture of him with a sign that says "My $ goes to NC State, but my heart remains with Duke". Now he's starting Facebook groups about how he thinks State should land Bob Knight.

Gregg Marshall is looking better each year IMO. I wasn't really sold on him until seeing how depleted Wichita State was when he took over. PackPride has convinced me he would be a good candidate if the big dogs say No again.

I don't see him leaving. Mizzou probably has the money to keep him, plus the Big XII (or X or whatever it's going to be now) is still pretty powerful and is losing nothing in the way of power bball teams next year.

What would you all say if I knew of a former National Coach of the Year that we could definitely get to come coach here? He's still comparatively young, coaching at a moderately high level, and improving each year.

I would love it if we got Anderson. I've always been a big fan of the 40 minutes of hell. One thing is certain is his players give 110% effort night in and out.

Disrespectful or not, it's still true. He's a professional coach with a bad record over a 5 year stretch. He's being paid a lot of money to produce results. Those results are not there, if anything one could argue that our team is worse now than it was before he got here. The ACC is as weak as it's ever going to be this season and we are quite clearly still near the bottom in terms of performance.

People questioning your ability, being critical of your performance, and discussing your future replacement is par for the course in the world of major collegiate coaching.

I'm not in favor of bashing the players, IMO they're off limits because they aren't professionals, coaches are fair game though in my book.

I agree with this sentiment and always have. Student athletes are amateurs and short of egregious lack of effort they shouldn't be personally insulted. Coaches, especially at this level, are part of a huge money business and I'm sure they agree they should be treated as such.

And while I appreciate d7's and others input and actually don't wholeheartedly disagree with them, I feel this thread will bring relevant and good discussion to the section (and IMO, it has to this point).
