As he's stated in the past, none of his postings violate the posting guidelines, which are loose enough to allow content that even porn sites find offensive. He can post pictures of dead mutilated babies in the Food Truck thread and still not violate guidelines.

Most other boards I've been on have reigned in this kind of wild west trolling because they found it difficult to recruit and retain new members when some master troll who posts 50+ times a day fills their thread with pornography, offensive content and general assholish behavior.

There are definitely a fair share of trolls on this site, but most of them still post worthwhile content when they're not trolling. That does not appear to be the case for this dude.

was that a particularly insightful contribution to the thread? obviously not. is it suspend-worthy? i would say not. it's missing the "with the intent to derail the thread" aspect. and since chit chat has long had the "May be NSFW (without warning)" disclaimer, I would not be inclined to do anything about it. if anything, bighit's post would normally make me think a little more about editing it out, if it weren't for the fact that his post is suddenly on-topic b/c everybody started talking about posting tits :\ all this said, you are free to ask geniusboy and bhs (or anybody else who posts nsfw stuff in chit chat) if they wouldn't mind their post being edited out. that's generally probably a better approach for these borderline cases than asking for a suspension

There have been many many times where other people have posted spontaneous nudity or other nsfw material, and generally nobody makes a big deal deal about it. yes, this aspect of chit chat can make it tricky for people browsing tww at work (and let's be real here, people do and should browse tww at work. the do your job don't browse the internet excuse is unrealistic and stupid) and for that reason I will be interested to see if there is enough interest in this thread message_topic.aspx?topic=631915. i have my doubts about such a proposal, but I am open to the idea if there's that much interest in changing it
