lol @ the RW bashing.

a shitload of yards, no picks (except the hail mary) 3 TD drives in the 4th quarter. He didn't have any turnovers, he didn't make the play calls on 3rd and 4th and 1. The only thing you can even maybe criticize him for is the sack before the half.

BUT, look at the replay of the time left in the first half. They got the snap off.

Also, Lynch was horrible in the postseason and the D was horrible allowing 30 points.

I'd say he did his part.

there is absolutely no way you could have watched that game and think Russell had anything other than an excellent game

unless you're trolling, of course

Another unbelievable performance from him. Next year they should be able to get a top seed and avoid having to play so many road games.

With one more win or SF loss that was them stomping the packers last night and headed to Atlanta a healthier team. Redskins field issues kinda fucked them

i'm not bitter, i was hoping they'd win today because as a Panthers fan, I hate the Falcons and were hoping the Falcons would lose

but it seems like some people on here are bigger Seahawks fans than NC State football fans

its like ncstatetke still following Arizona State

^^I think TT10 is not a fan of self-professed Panthers fans referring to the Seahawks as "we" and the like

yeah thats all it is really i guess

if you already hate the panthers, knock yourself out and be a chargers or seahawks fan

but i just dont get it when somebody is like 'i'm a panthers fan, unless they're playing a team that has a former nc state qb on their team'

not sure how many people are even like that, but i keep my college and pro sports separate

--

but also, i think people were biased when rationally discussing the RoTY race because they liked Wilson more than RG3 and Luck

Fair enough. I wish RW success and was definitely rooting for him to somehow win a Super Bowl in his first season. That being said: I would never root for Seattle against the Panthers (or NCSU).

I mean are we supposed to abandon all NCSU alumni? Just be all "you graduated, you're dead to me"

i mentioned Damien Wilkins for a reason

Wilson could've come back for his senior year...he would've been backup? ok, once Glennon took a couple sacks and threw a couple picks he'd be starter again...his unrealistic baseball dreams threw a wrench in all that

but somebody like Rivers is never gonna say anything in his SNF introduction other than "NC State"

its why i can never hate Amato or Lowe as much as Sendek...they're NC State through and through

if you play for NC State and go pro, I'll always have love for you...if you transfer, its not gonna be the same

its not like Mario Williams transferred to Alabama and says Roll Pack before Bills games

and just as a sidenote, i view a transfer like Deshaun Painter moving to be closer to an ill relative differently

I have noticed this as well. one user has said "we" while referring to at least 3 different teams, maybe 4

shit like that drives me crazy

So if Wilson didn't transfer would you have a Seahawks #3 jersey or do you split your college/pro that much? If this bitterness is cause of the transfer then that's cool but otherwise

Quote :
"I don't understand the you can't cheer for Seattle if you are an NCSU fan thing?"

since cheering for an alumni's success kind of hinges on his overall team's effort

I'll say that as an Atlanta fan, I'm largely happy because of a playoff win for Gonzalez's final year and see that Wilson will have plenty of years in the league to come...the overall team win > Wilson. That and Wilson put out a humongous effort and didn't lose the game himself, but still hits in the feels

if he didnt transfer i wouldnt have his jersey, but i would embrace him a lot more than i do

i think the only non-panthers non-wolfpack football jersey i own is a barry sanders jersey cause he is the man

[Edited on January 13, 2013 at 5:27 PM. Reason : i actually have a seahawks koren robinson jersey, lol]

[Edited on January 13, 2013 at 5:27 PM. Reason : and a rams torry holt jersey, but neither of them transferred]

Ironically enough to my pro-Wilson sentiment, I won't buy a #16 NCSU jersey because Wilson did transfer and thus some scrub on the team will be wearing #16 and make me look like an idiot

if TOB hadn't kicked Russell off the team we wouldn't be having this discussion.

And we'd probably have an ACC title.

if Wilson didn't have failed dreams of baseball, he wouldn't have ever given TOB a reason to kick him off the team say he'd have to come back as 2nd stringer and earn his starting spot back
