third pack, all legs, fries, pepsi light ice, see you at the window

non-triangle bojangles can't handle this ordering finesse. it brings me a sad.

I've definitely heard it called a "quarter dark" at lots of bojangles locations. I've also heard them call a 3 piece a "third dark" or "third white". I guess 3/8 is close enough to 1/3 for the chicken bidness.

haha, the nearest BoJ to me was over 2 hours away (until one recently opened a little over an hour from here). My daughter and I took an airplane and a cab (no Uber in that town) to get a whole box of Cheddar Bos and some other stuff.

show me a picture of a Bojangles menu that advertises it as such

I'm well aware that 1/4 dark or 1/4 light is pretty much synonymous with leg/thigh or breast/wing. I guess the main difference is that a "quarter dark" implies the leg and thigh are still connected and not 2 separate pieces. But I don't ever recall any Bojangles that listed their food as anything other than a 2-piece combo, or 2-piece dinner, etc.

it's not on the menu that way, but it's what they shout or say over the PA speaker when you order it.

My wife is from California, and not much of a carnivore (figures), but I quickly got her on Team Bojangles with the Cheddar Bo. Every time we made it to a location, they'd give us the "That'll be about five minutes" routine. Eventually I'd just say, "One cheddar bo biscuit and yes we know it will be five minutes that's fine."

Last weekend, we came back from a day trip to Baltimore and took advantage of the opportunity to get some delicious (if overpriced) Bojangles, Union Station being the only place in DC where this life-sustaining poultry vendor can be found. My normally mild-mannered spouse had a fit when she discovered that Cheddar Bo is no more. (It probably didn't help that she was drunk, as is fitting for anyone getting off the MARC train)

We shall be writing Bojangles a strongly-worded letter.

i'm unfamiliar with that menu item/terminology...

but i think they have a relatively new (or maybe not new) "homestyle" chicken that is not cajun seasoned like their regular fried chicken. so maybe bo style = their original cajun fried chicken.

Cheddar Bo being a slow moving menu item is a self perpetuating situation.

I love them but any time I order them they tell me it will be 5 minutes, so I don't order them anymore.

Bojangles has plans for 20 restaurants around Baltimore, plus more on the eastern shore. there are Bojangles in Oxon Hill and Upper Marlboro now, but they may not be convenient to where you're sightseeing.

Don't think it's a pro tip, but Bo-sizing your Bo-rounds gets you at least 10.. Kinda hard to eat that many

Jumping up the thread here, but it definitely shows up as "Quarter Dark" on the drive through window when I order at the Falls River Bo's.

changes will be subtle... the chicken will start to taste...different... the spices will changes... supplier changes they'll call it... then suddenly, it's terrible.

Nooooooo

We've lost BoJo and Krispy Kreme... Our cultural heritage is being sold off!

Biscuitville, who does a fantastic job of keepin' it local, needs to step their game up. They're 10 minutes in the wrong way, while I pass 2 Bojangles on the way to work

Bojangles has gone to shit for the past few years. This can only be a good thing.

I quit eating fast food for 6 months until I ate some Jangles and it was nasty.

because investment firms care solely about quarter profits. literally every company sucked up by an investment firm has gotten shittier in someway; some more than others, but the narrow minded vacuumed space of a profit only mindset sucks for quality, service, and customers. These companys become shells of what they were - from the outside they mostly appear to be the same, but inside, inside is an alien simply in control of its new skin suit.

I waited 20 minutes for bo-rounds the other day. They usually don't even have them at some locations at 11am on a Saturday. Do all y'all hate them or something and no one orders them but me? This is my true burden.

I want to like bo rounds, but they kill my stomach more than anything else at bojangles. Those things have a shit load of grease in them. Also the onions in them make your breath smell for a while.
