With a large group of people, alarms won't do anything. You have 20 people running into a store - no one is going to get hauled away.

We are right under the flight path of helicopters coming from Bragg. We heard at least 9 helicopters heading from Bragg going north. Only conjecture to say what they were doing, but we never hear them that late at night in those numbers.

Per CNN, the Minneapolis police force has used that neck hold to cause 58 people to go unconscious since 2012. Sounds like it is an obvious training technique this particular department uses.

Just gonna throw this out there, but why is it believable to think that cops are hiring protesters, but when someone on the right suggests that these protests over firearms, etc, are being staffed, it's a ludicrous idea?

Having said that, if it's true, then it's scary, because nothing we see can be believed.

because those on the right use that as a way to belittle an actual protest/movement since they are usually in the minority of said movement. it’s a way of them telling themselves, “there’s no way that many people can be for/against this cause I care so deeply about. they must be fake”

while we don’t know that cops are actually hiring people to provide backup, we know for a fact that they are welcoming mercenaries. check out what went on in Philadelphia last night.

I looked into the Denver protest leader a little more. It's the same guy who marched arm in arm with the chief of police earlier in the day. This is extremely fishy.

While I am not an advocate for the destruction, rioting, and looting, I can understand it. But even for those who aren’t advocates and do not understand why riots may be a logical, systematic reaction to what is at play, I cannot understand why they post that the “riots and protests must stop”.

Argument for riots, understood. But protests? What outside of philosophical discomfort and adversity to change that you fear will lessen your relative superiority society can one have for demanding that protests stop?

Unfortunately, the protests are regularly leading to riots/looting since the cops will call an unlawful assembly once someone tosses a water bottle, or the sun starts to go down, and then all hell breaks loose.

That's not even what's happening in a lot of places though, like in NYC and all over the Bay Area, where looting is taking place in broad daylight, nowhere near any of the protests.

I’m not sure if @horosho was being tongue in cheek or completely serious- I have my suspicions but I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt since he has supposedly left leaning and supportive of afflicted peoples.

But that is actually the most damning part. The comment wasn’t “don’t say that. That’s fucked up.” Or “I know you guys are kidding, but make sure you do address them peacefully.” Instead the comment was “don’t say that over the air”, meaning we can think and act that way but let’s not have evidence around it.

That comment is a view into the true nature and actions of those police.
