I can't tell if you're fucking with me so I'll just post this also 'not a doctor' reddit comment I showed to my mom who is always worried forgetfulness is a sign, and then duck out.

I have no experience other than trying to make my mom feel better, who I DONT think has that. Sorry if I led you to believe otherwise.

For a hard conversation with a loved one, not being alone just seems like standard advice, and trying to be sure you avoid coming across as attacking, so with love.

Oppenheimer was good, but I didn't think it was great. It was a little difficult to follow since it jumped around the timeline so much. I may enjoy it more if I watch it again in a year or two.

I really enjoyed Oppenheimer, but I do think it got a little more hype than it deserved.

And I too felt like the non-linear format was a little annoying. I just don't think it's in Nolan's DNA to make a straightforward movie. I mean I guess he did with the Batman trilogy, but that's about it.

StTexan, when you go to visit, look around for small hand-written notes that might be used as reminders for small, everyday things/tasks.

Just saw Godzilla as well, and enjoyed it. But holy fuck I had not been to a non-Alamo draft house movie theater in a while. Had 15 minutes straight of just regular ass commercials once we hit the posted showtime. Just like Amazon, at&t, car, credit card commercials. Fucking ridiculous. Then like 3-4 trailers, also with more Pepsi and mount dew ads interspersed between them before finally getting to the movie

had the exact same realization when we had to slum it at another theater to see Barbie over the summer

the volume for those ads was jacked the fuck up, too

I am an extremely happy Alamo Season Pass subscriber

^^I too was pretty underwhelmed with Asteroid City.

Maestro was a little slow, and depressing at times, but done very well and I learned about an important person I knew nothing about. Bradley Cooper is pretty awesome.

^I am really looking forward to seeing that.

Historically I’m not a huge fan of the mission impossible series, I think they are mostly mediocre and over-hyped, but I just thoroughly enjoyed Dead Reckoning

The Holdovers was really good (neat how they made it feel like a movie from the 70s). Neat soundtrack too (at little Wes Anderson-vibe)

Apparently Madame Web was one of the worst openings that Sony has ever had.

Why don’t they just go ahead and sell the license to someone that can do it justice. They can’t live off of Into the Spiderverse alone.

Hmmmm. What is the most infamous scene in that entire movie? The scene that defines the double entendre meaning of the movie's entire title? Hint: It is def not the part where he is on camera with Nadia.
