this remains one of the dumbest points that you’ve argued multiple times

and with your body of work, that’s saying something

So what current rap artists suck or are also the worst?

Look, Ive said plenty of artists suck, from country to hip-hop, but I'm not up here on my high horse putting down others for their opinion.

Lil Xan...is that just bc he called Tupac's music boring?

What about Lil Yachty? Lil Uzi Vert? Lil Pump? XXXTentacion? Playboi Carti?

Any other examples?

no, it’s because he’s a joke

Lil’ Yachty/Uzi Vert have legitimately good songs. Lil’ Yachty is in “Broccoli”. he gets a pass for being in such an enjoyable song. I don’t know enough about the others to have an opinion, which is fine.

95% of newer rappers are straight garbage...that includes Migos, Future, Big Sean, etc (who I know tgl3 really likes). Exceptions come in the form of the Kendrick Lamars and Cardi B's.

/end of discussion

Let's talk SNL. Hopefully Mulaney will bring the lulz this weekend.

^^ I’ve never posted anything about being fans of any of those you listed, especially not Big Sean

I like a lot of of their singles, but their albums don’t really do it for me

You've thus far only called someone universally clowned for a really dumb interview.

What else ya got?

when did I say you mentioned an interview?

and you are repeatedly dodging a very basic question.

I’m not enough into what’s going on in a micro level to have a fully formed opinion on current artists outside of current singles

that suitable enough for you, one who leeches onto conversations?

You're getting pretty preachy and drawing a line in the sand with "it’s not really that difficult to say, “this just isn’t for me” instead of, “they suck/are trash”

I'm interested in who you dislike so much that it makes you cross your own line, in addition to Old Crow Medicine Show, 311, Mumford and Sons, and Lil Xan.

Probably just confusing you with the other "all-knowing" music fans on this site. I just through in Big Sean as another rapper that was abysmal on SNL in recent years.

Starting to wonder if Redbone is gonna be a one hit wonder. Maybe i need more time with these new tracks.

But yea great ep, except for the cold open. They've gotten so lazy, "let's just get celebrities and not even bother with jokes". And Baldwin's Trump has run its course and jumped the shark

Very good episode.

that really weighed it down

I mean none of his rap tracks are hits, and those songs just didn't have that earworm quality that Redbone has.

Of course, this is America video blew the fuck up after I posted that so I'm probably wrong. Also, TIA played better not live. (although his rapping there almost feels like he's imitating other rappers  )

^^^both of his previous albums were very high on the charts. Camp peaked at #11, #2 hip hop and #2 rap. Because the internet was even better, peaking at #7 and was #1 on the rap charts and is certified gold just like awaken my love. He's had multiple singles chart, while none as high as redbone, 3005 wasnt a slouch, just missing the top 10 on the rap charts. But please, continue to think of him as a one hit wonder.

TL;DR TIL that certified platinum singles aren't considered hits.

only difference now is the reliance on stunt casting

it hasn’t been every single episode

and he and the and awfulness that surrounds him on a daily basis dominate current events, so of course that’s what’s going to open most shows

there are better ways to address such events than with stunt casting week after week, though
