Yeah, definitely the first and likely last drop-kicked onside kick we'll see in our lifetimes if they're all that bad

Well, it's not the first because he also tried one against Chicago this year.

Fuck you, Tribune Media.

But at least I can stream the game from another CBS station.

Or stream from NFL.com/NFL app. The NFL is really good about getting their product available to consumers.

Or use an antenna and watch the game OTA.

Yeah, you pretty much have to actively avoid the NFL in order to not watch a game (especially the playoffs where there aren't blackout rules)

Chargers are the first team (I think) to play the Lamar Jackson-led Ravens twice. Ravens offense hasn't made any adjustments. This is all on the Ravens offensive coaches.

Also LMAO at these Ravens fans wanting Joe Flacco, who they've hated for years.

What team throws the Cousins contract at Flacco this offseason with the bleak draft class coming in?

No one. Flacco has been one of the absolute worst starters in the league for years.

Jackson can be really good and definitely is better than Flacco. But my god. Dude needs to quit fumbling.

Can't throw an interception if you throw everything too far out of bounds.

^^^^statistically, Kirk Cousins has never been one of the worst starting QBs. He's always at worst middle of the pack and is sometimes elite.

Here is a comparison of their QB Ratings/QBRs for the last 4 years (the 4 years Cousins has been a starting QB):

2015
Flacco - 83.1 rating (30th in NFL), 49.7 QBR (25th)
Cousins - 101.6 rating (5th), 71.7 QBR (2nd)
2016
Flacco - 83.5 rating (24th), 52.7 QBR (19th)
Cousins - 97.2 rating (7th), 66.1 (6th)
2017
Flacco - 80.4 rating (26th), 49.8 (23rd)
Cousins - 93.9 rating (12th), 54.2 (17th)
2018
Flacco - 84.2 rating (28th), 58.7(17th)
Cousins - 99.7 rating (10th), 60.6 (16th)

They aren't even close.

Also, I think QBR is a terrible stat and untill ESPN becomes transparent with their formula will continue to think that way.

Yeah without looking at the stats (and thanks for posting them) I was thinking that I’d take Cousins over quite a few guys. Obviously he’s earned the jokes about him performing poorly in big games....but he’s not really terrible.

Cousins definitely has limitations and definitely has a fumbling problem. But he also IS a good QB. Joe Flacco has arguably had the worst contract in the NFL. Cousins was brought into a new team that struggled all year on defense and especially on the offensive line. Flacco got benched for a raw rookie QB who struggles with basic passes.

^ehh. I find it troubling to try and compare different eras using ANY stats. The game changes, the rules change. I really don't feel like reading that whole thing TBH. Of course Kirk Cousins isn't better than Joe Montana, that's just some stupid clickbait shit. ALSO THIS ISN'T RELEVANT BECAUSE IM COMPARING PEERS.

QBR is a great stat if you assume that no QB ever leaves the pocket

I wouldn't care too much about this Dallas/Rams game generally speaking, but since Aikman is in the booth, I hope the Rams blow them out.

Well, Chargers laying one huge rotten egg. These division round games have sucked.

Would say I'm hoping for a closer game up next, but fuck the Eagles.

And the refs let Rivers get absolutely demolished on a dead play.

If that had happened the other way around dude would have been ejected.

Tom Brady's job is really easy when his O line never gets a hold called.
