No side effects other than a sore arm from my Pfizer booster, despite 1-2 days of flu-like symptoms after my 2nd Pfizer shot back in Spring. I didn't get the flu shot though.

2nd Moderna dose and the Moderna booster both fucked me up royally. Spent the night after each one tossing and turning with chills, fever, aches all over. I got up and went to the bathroom after the 2nd dose and my vision actually went black and my wife had to lead me back to the bed before I passed out. I was sweating profusely. It was rough.

i can relate to the vision thing. when i got J&J shot #1 it hurt so bad i saw spots and heard a high pitched noise.

i had to sit there for a minute to recoup. usually i get a little lightheaded from flu shots or whatever just because i hate needles but this was different. no side effects later.

J&J shot #2 recently didnt hurt as bad. no side effects immediately but felt ill the next day and lasted about a week.

I got two pfizers originally and a moderna booster recently. I never had any side-effects except a slightly sore shoulder. Same with flu shots, never had any side effects.

the only side effect i got from the Pfizer was an INSANE APPETITE for a couple of days... seriously, I was chomping down calories like the Flash... thought I was going crazy til I found out that it was a rare, but documented (about 1% of people experienced it) side effect

for me, 1st moderna was pretty much no side effects. I might've been a little tired 12 hrs later, enough to go to bed a little earlier than normal. 2nd moderna kicked my ass. symptoms started about 12 hrs after the shot and lasted about 10 hrs. moderna booster wasn't as bad, but still felt horrible. again, 12 hrs after the shot and then lasted about 10 hrs. I have the heart rate and stress trends from my fitness watch and it's ridiculous.

That night, I had a similar fever and soreness to what I experienced with my second shot, although the severity seemed maybe half of how it felt before.

I didn't experience chills like I did with my second shot, but I had a similar headache the following day.

Can confirm that I feel invincible again.

I have an idiot relative who refused to get boosted because they were worried about missing a day or two of of work because of "side effects". now they're positive (pretty sure it's omicron, but idk) and sick AF and won't be able to work for at least 10 days (they work in the service industry and rely on tips). Post here when you get your covid jab that lessens symptoms, but doesn't immunize you against the coronavirus.

I'm not here to debate the "covid vaccine" efficacy. Vaccine is a word to use for something that eradicates a virus or disease. What's a better word to use for an injection into the human body that limits symptoms and decreases chances of death?

I had my booster yesterday and am in the middle of this. Not as bad as the second shot, but my head feels like it's going to explode.

Now I am going back to sleep and hopefully will wake as an invincible Moderna man.

I got the moderna booster a couple of weeks ago. My first two doses were pfizer but pharmacist recommended mixing. I was prepared for rough next day but it never came. Everything went better than expected

With my Moderna booster (after Moderna) i had a bad headache ~8 hours after the shot, then insomnia. Got stabbed at 2:00 symptoms started ~10pm and lasted until almost exactly 6am. After that just some slight discomfort because of a swollen lymph node in my armpit on the arm i received the vaccine in but nothing debilitating. Never had a fever/chills.

Definitely my worst reaction out of all 3 shots. First was basically nothing, second was a slight headache.

never felt much more than slight body aches from my moderna booster. but today I have been extremely nauseous all morning and cant tell if its gonna come out the top or the bottom. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the booster..all my other side effects are gone.

I got my flu shot earlier this year too..

maybe a stomach flu..although I just took a nap and woke up with a pounding headache but the nausea is gone for now. I do have a home test I can take but I think its pretty pointless. I guess these could still be booster side-effects. Got the booster thursday at noon..I was actually doing fine yesterday (friday) (with the help of ibuprofen and tylenol) slept ok last night, woke up feeling ok, then nausea hit me and Im tired with a headache now. I would hope this is still symptoms from the moderna booster...I really hope they are. I have a race tomorrow that I would really like to attend.

The first Moderna kicked my ass. Fever, chills, arm soreness, body aches. Felt like my heart was racing as I was trying to fall asleep at night. Symptoms lasted around 2.76 days. I think I'll take a day off work for jab #2.
