Think Cyanogenmod got the touchscreen working but wifi was still a no go. TouchDroid apparently split up again after being called out for stealing CM code. Damn nerds

I started with a fresh install using webOS Doctor, but I would assume you don't need to if you're already on 3.0.2

pReader is okay, it's not great. I get some quirky page turns sometimes, but it's normally when I'm at the gym. There's an app in prewar that you can import epub into the Kindle reader app. I'm going to try that later tonight I think before my business trip on Monday.

Just tried Hulu and it works fine with my computer and touchpad connected over WiFi. Tried my computer at work and there was a little lag here and there but it was watchable. Also tethered to my Thunderbolt using LTE and it still wasn't too bad. Touchpad + Bluetooth keyboard + Splashtop = #winning

no but it doesn't auto-refresh pages unless you post to them, so if you go to My Topics for example, it loads a cached version and you have to hit the refresh button on the far right of the URL bar

you could be logged in and not know it without refreshing

also, download all the patches and updates from preware from the link gs7 posted near the top of this page

I've noticed that sometimes it just won't log in. I usually end up closing the card and reopening the browser again and it seems to log in fine after that.

And I officially love that Splashtop app. It's like having a Windows 7 tablet. Windows 8 running on the Touchpad using Splashtop.

I think I've gotten some type of java or graphics issue...all the standard apps will run, but some of the downloaded apps like Angry Birds won't start, and others like Solitaire only show certain graphics or layers implying something is wonky.

Any ideas of what I can uninstall and reinstall to get this figured out?

Issues with:

Freecell - no cards displayed, can't change background
pReader - starts to open but hangs loading the Backend
Stuff.TV - doesn't get past the loading screen
Splashtop Remote - Home screen is blank, ie can't do anything

Things that still work fine:

Email, messaging, browser (including youtube), Facebook App, Spaz HD Twitter app, Govnah, etc

It seems like it has to be some type of graphics problem but I don't know what to do to resolve it aside from basically a factory reset and reinstalling and reconfiguring everything

Any ideas?

Also Preware opens but I get an error "Unable to open saved packages database: Transaction Failure (code 1): unable to open a transaction to the database" but when I select OK it lists all the packages...I just installed and am able to run the IAmA reddit feed app

I had problems before with certain graphic-intensive apps not loading, but rebooting always helped...now somehow I've lost the Restart Device and Restart Luna options and only have Airplane Mode and Shutdown...wonder what I uninstalled to lose those options?

I haven't messed with WebOS Doctor yet but I guess I'll have to! Full Erase here I come!
