fyi - to anyone coming into town for the weekend, the downtown connector (aka 75/85) is going to be a major clusterfuck this weekend. they are shutting down lanes to repave, there's a large convention in town, and paul mccartney will be at piedmont park. take the marta, 285, or surface streets.

it is with a heavy heart that i announce my retirement from the Atlanta Updates thread. I have officially moved to Annapolis, MD. while I will return to Atlanta to visit friends and go to a couple GT football games (at least this season as I had season tickets), I would say my already spotty posting in here will be even spottier if it even happens at all

5 years in Atlanta - the 2 in business school were awesome, the first 6 months at Home depot were good (before I found out how absolutely shitty that place was to work - seriously, RUN from any potential employment there)...the last year and a half of dicking off and doing contract work to scrape by were relaxing...oh, and I dated my first (and hopefully last) truly psycho woman

all in all, a decent run of things...so long fuckers

What's a good affordable downtown Hotel to stay in next week for one night? Preferrebly close to the Dome, but it's not necessary as I have a parking pass.

I've stayed at some of the nicer ones in town, but i'm heading down Saturday for the night to hang out before the Falcons/Panthers game on Sunday. I'm not really trying to spend a lot, since we'll just be sleeping one night.
