I love salt scrubs!

the whole foods in cary sometimes has this body salt scrub that you scoop into containers. It can be pretty $$ (as I found out in the check-out) but it's really awesome. and I'm sad that I running out.

When I worked at Bath Junkie (Crabtree- not there anymore) I was hooked on their salt scrub! the formula for half salt and half shea butter was awesome! There's a Bath Junkie near me now so I think I'm switching back to that scrub.

also I just saw the post from the top of the last page where DivaBaby19 was asking about anemia. My iron is also always too low to give blood, (especially during that time of the month!) but I agree that if you feel tired something is up.

You could try adding more iron to your diet. also I've heard that cooking on a cast iron skillet will put some iron in your food.

hmmm interesting!

Thanks for the tips...I really think I may try a supplement and see how it goes...I've been very cautious when choosing food lately to make sure I get some good iron.

Being anemic is awesome because you always have an excuse to eat hamburgers and steak I can usually tell now when my iron is low just by how I feel. I tried slow fe pills but they made my tummy hurt.

LOL ... unfortunately they don't have a Navy themed suit

also I doubt there will even be a best swimsuit award at this tourney (that was just a gag award from the women's tourney) But that doesn't mean I shouldn't have the best swimsuit!!

I like Lush's Ocean Salt scrub and their Buffy scrub bar thingy.

Speaking of bathing suits, I have to have one this summer for working at a summer camp, but it should probably be more modest than a bikini for working with kids. I really want this one:

But I have a long torso and I can never wear one piece suits. I hate tankinis, but one pieces are always up in my butt and barely covering my boobs.

It's from Black Milk: http://shop.blackmilkclothing.com/category/swimsuits

Not officially listed on the site because George Lucas came after them about it, but you can email them to get it.

i teach swim lessons and needed a new suit also. i got this one from rei the other day.

very modest and appropriate for being around children and families, plus the straps are pretty wide so it minimizes armpit flab

the brand is TYR. you could probably find it somewhere cheaper but i had dividends to spend which is why i went to rei.

omg. just applied the st. tropez

i already feel like this is a disaster

i just look dirty and it seemed really hard to get even slash its not even...but they CLAIM only areas you miss look patchy not the areas you cover. i tried to get it a even as possible but it is like impossible i don't get how you do.

i feel like this is going to end badly

maybe i should just wash it off right now and give up!

plus it says after 60 seconds it wont come off on clothes or whatever but i seriously doubt that. i'm betting on waking up to orange sheets.

oh well. i spent the $$$ i guess i should wait it out and see. worst comes to worst i'll be a patchwork snookie on the way back to the mall tomorrow to get the self tanner remover, lol

Sephora has a really great refund/return policy. They've told me before with any problems, whether it's just it didn't work out, it didn't work on YOUR skin, or you just plain didn't like it, they'll give you a full refund. I have a feeling if you showed up blotchy they'd return your money on the spot (mostly just to get the bad review out of the store ).

I wanted to add 1 thing to the vitamin discussion: I've never been able to swallow pills very well and when shopping for medicines I definitely have to take pill size into effect.

I've never been able to take women's multivitamins because the pills are GIGANTIC!

This week I decided to look around and see if they make adult chewable vitamins and they DO! So now I'm on a chewable multivitamin by Centrum and I'm so excited about it! My doctor won't yell at me for not taking vitamins now haha.

WTF the size chart is in cm??? After a second look, I'm worried that the scoop neck is too low or the wrong shape. In a poorly designed suit, the front acts like a big sail when you're swimming and kind of fills up with water Lots of "pretty" suits have this problem. doesn't matter though if you're just chillin' by the pool, instead of swimming in it!

i used the st. tropez and it worked! no splotches, def made me darker.

pros: color isn't fake bake, even application is easy, no splotchy - even areas like my back that were hard for me to cover on my own didn't look uneven this morning, it doesn't smell too much

cons: applying it (like any fake tanner) sucks. it DOES come off a little in your sleep so wear a tshirt you don't care about. it doesn't come of a ton, but def comes off. and make sure your sheets can be bleached or something. also hands/feet were problem areas for me. knees and elbows faired fine, but fingers/toes were kinda problematic. they got a little too fakey/dark so i exfoliated a lot of it off of them this morn in the shower and they are still dark! lesson learned for next time. my feet are slightly uneven too because i tried to keep it away from the soles (as instructed) so the sides didn't really get good coverage. but with shoes on you can't tell.

my palms are also a little dark - not a lot - and def not very noticeable with the tan (they aren't orange or anything, just dark). i tried to apply it with latex gloves and it didn't work well. its a mousse so it kinda just made a mess and spread it around but not in a good way. you CAN buy this mitt thing they suggest applying with, which i didn't, which i'm assuming works more like a sponge and spreads but also is a little absorbent holding in the excess (which latex gloves clearly don't). so i just used my hands (hence dark palms). i will probably invest in a mitt for next time.

all in all - i give it an A-......will use again!!!!

So my mother suggested I go get professionally fitted bc she did amd ended being a size 34DD and we were both like bc she does NOT look like she'd be that size and I thought I wore a 36DD but I am huge compared to her so...... now I'm at the some place called the bra patch and there is literally a line of women waiting to be fitted. Anyway once I'm all sized amd stuff I'm hoping they can find me a good strapless bra bc I NEED one so bad now that its hot so I can wear sleeveless or spaghetti strap tops.

My mom swore by this place so.... I'll report back
