This season sucks. I haven't LOL'ed once. I keep hoping for another lightning-in-a-bottle scene like the jerking scene from S1, but perhaps that's a pipe dream. I guess when I think about it, outside of the jerking scene, I didn't really laugh much at last season. Seems like they waste too much energy and story on BS Silicon Valley observations that only people in that culture would laugh at. IMO they're wasting the comedic potential of TJ Miller, Kumail Nanjiani, and Martin Starr.

Veep has been great this year. SV hasn't hit the high points yet, but it's still interesting/entertaining. Hopefully we'll get some big lulz from here on out.

I thought when they were describing how Peter Gregory died was hilarious. Probably my biggest lol of the season so far. I also like what they've done with the new chick they hired to work at Pied Piper. Seems like some good potential there. "Cunty"

This season has been very disappointing up until the most recent episode which was quite funny.

This new investor character is terrible and the less he is on screen the better.

The new girl they added to the PP team is good though; we need more interaction with the guys and her and less with the investors/hooli

It's ironic that they've struggled this season finding a way to get past not having Peter Gregory when they just winged it last year after the actor playing him died and never missed a beat. I agree this new guy sucks as does the lady succeeding Gregory. Gavin Belson has been great, though, and the housemates are still on point so long as they get screen time.

It's a 30 minute episode... These are light-hearted series. Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, Eastbound & Down, and Silicon Valley.

Worst episode since the first season. They really had to reach to create the end result in that one.

Oh well...I imagine it will pick back up next episode. This season was gold until last night.

I read these last few comments before watching the ep. Was expecting it to be bad, I thought it was great! Maybe nothing earth-shattering but the best thing about this show are the nuances and the characters' mannerisms, which were all on point.
