I see it at 3 right now. But I've learned my lesson a long time ago betting on State games. Won't touch them anymore.

After a quick glance, I'm liking:

Wisconsin -7 @ Hawaii
Georgia -3.5 @ Ga. Tech (4-star pick of the century)
Virginia +18 @ Miami
ATL -3 @ DET
DEN -1.5 @ DAL

Maybe:
South Florida -8.5 @ UConn
Oklahoma St. +19 @ Oklahoma

I'm def. gonna do this three team teaser:
West Virginia -3 vs. Pitt
Florida St. +15 @ Florida
Virginia +28 @ Miami

I've won on the last 8 state games. All were straight except i had the s.miss game on a teaser with state just to win.

I'm taking maryland +3.5

2 weeks ago, I was prepared to take State -17 over MTSU and then take the points in this one. Its no lock, but either team could win and having 3.5 points in what should be a close game sounds really nice.

I got Akron and looks like I'll be getting Atlanta today. Putting those winnings all on Dallas Moneyline. Will either break even or be up 110 for the day. Might make a small play on tonight's game.

Leaning towards WVirginia, but haven't done much research yet.

Good looking parlay, 20 to win 1,550

LSU -17
Fla -3
GA -4
Md +3 1/2
UNC +24
NDame -16 1/2
TX AM +28

I usually only put 10 on these things, feel pretty good about this one. Not "good" about it hitting, more good about having a good "chance" to hit. I'll prob. play all these straight as well for 1 unit each (20).

I didn't post it before the game but the only game I went on today was the Falcons -3.5, which I won. Going to check out some college games tonite and see if there is anything I like for the weekend.

Great night for me. Up 107 for the night and overall today. Wish Cundiff had made the FG just to see how the game would have worked out. Or, that C'boys would have won coin toss in OT. I'll take the 107 though.

I like UNC Sat. Just seems like too many points with UNC trying to get a bowl. I see VaTech winning by 14-17, maybe 21.

I may do a 10-pt teaser with TX, LSU, AZ St. tomorrow. I like LSU a lot straight up. Really not sure about Texas. I think TX A&M can cover but TX has been blowing out everyone. Not sure yet.

Did a change up and put TX AM on the teaser. I think either one works but a little worried about TX with rivalry game. Looking forward to that game and LSU tomorrow. Glad to make back half of what I lost on GB/Minn today.

Meh, I don't care for the TA&M teaser. They're a pretty bad team and Texas OWNS them. And with the way Texas has been lighting everyone up, I think it's a much better play to tease the line down and take Texas than to tease it up with A&M. Don't tease against a team that can just about cover the over by themselves.

Anyway, I made $600 on the day. I put $200 on ATL and $200 on DEN, as mentioned in my earlier post. I also did a $100 four-team teaser with Akron, WV, ATL and DEN. I already had $50 on West Virginia, but decided to put another $100 on them right before kickoff at -14. At halftime, I put another $50 bet on them at -7 for the second half. I lost a $70 bet on South Carolina basketball, though.

Oh, and I won the first bet in this three-team teaser:

Football - 112 West Virginia -4½ for Game
Football - 139 Florida State +14 for Game
Football - 159 Virginia +28 for Game

Tomorrow, I've got:

Spread 66.00 60.00 Football - 113 Texas -28 -110 for Game

Spread 110.00 100.00 Football - 121 Wisconsin -7 -110 for Game

(2-team) Teaser 80.00 61.54 Football - 116 LSU -10 for Game
Football - 121 Wisconsin pk for Game

(3-team) Teaser 80.00 61.54 Football - 113 Texas -15 for Game
Football - 116 LSU -4 for Game
Football - 120 Colorado -3 for Game
Football - 121 Wisconsin +6 for Game

Been hot and cold lately. Terrible day today. LSU hurt me bad.
Bouncing back tonight. Got Memphis +6 and UNC -13 in basketball.

Got Wisconsin -9 1/2 right now and just took the 2nd Half Under 35.

I wanted to take UNC 2nd half but no line. They were up 9 so I don't know what line would have been but I liked the idea of it b/c UCSD was making a very high %age of 3's. Carolina got up by about 24, I think they won by 17, covering.

If I get both, I'll be up for the day. Really need the Wisc. more.

2 big ones in college basketball. West Virginia and Brown. I know nothing about either team, just going with a couple guys on other boards, one had big writeup about how Brown should be favored by 6 with slight edge in backcourt and big edge up front and more experience, etc.
Other guy is really good for finding mistakes. He rarely posts but when does I like to take it. He picked W. Virginia.

WVirginia -6
Brown +7 1/2

Man, WTF. Kickers are killing me. Right now, I need Notre Dame to cover 6, but a push and I lose. Kicker misses an extra point and 2 FG's. Just missed a 30 yarder.

Yeah, ND saved my ass. Man, I love the Irish. I lost 70 today, but I'll take it. Felt like I lost everything I touched. I hit Florida and Florida for 2nd half, and my big teaser hit with Tenn, UNC, and ND.
As a Notre Dame fan, I hate to say it, but I was hoping Stanford would score to go up 1. I knew if ND scored they would go for 2. Unbelievable win. Had the 6 on a 10-pt teaser and on those, pushes lose.
Would have been down about 180.

Maryland kicker cost me today. Also, good win for State, but Md played right into their hands. All they had to do was play field position and not get those huge penalties. Md's QB is awful. Just play safe and punt and then get the ball back. Pick for 6 killed me.

I like the Titans, Jets, and Bucs so far.

Jets are terrible and Saints have been losing close ones left and right. I think they take out a lot of frustration tonight. San Fran on road-McNair should have a monster game.
Bucs and Bucs Under, only b/c its at Tampa.

Special thanks to everyone who bet on Maryland keeping the spread under 3.5.... you saved me a donkload of money.

I like these 10 pointers so ill give it another shot.... Cincy in a pick, 49ers +19 with Dorsey, and Rams +7.

Good luck. I like Cincy at a pick a lot but don't like Rams or Niners at all today. Even giving Niners 19. I predict McNair to Drew Bennett a lot and a lot or running as well with Chris Brown. I think Texans beat Rams today but you do have the 7 points.
Just my opinions and the last couple weeks I've just been lucky to survive. Hoping to bounce back today with the Notre Dame money. Still love the luck of the Irish baby.

Tonite's game moved from 8 to 8.5, at least since I've been watching it this morning. O/U is 47.5, that hasn't moved in the same time frame.

I do think Indy is the better team but I also believe they will not go 16-0. I'm thinking of taking Pittsburgh on the moneyline at $10 to win $28, then putting $25 on the Over. This is a game I really wouldnt like to tease since it could go one of 3 ways, Indy could blow them out, Pittsburgh could win a close one or Indy could win a close one. I know you could say that about all games but I truly believe it in this case, at least to the point I wouldn't know which way to tease it. I do like the over so even if Indy win as long as they go over 48 I still would win around $12. Which isn't much but I generally don't bet big, just enough to keep me interested.

I made about 120 yesterday. Hit my huge teaser...was worried about the Saints +11 there for a while. Also hit a small parlay on Saints ML with Over.

Could have easily had a huge day. Had Skins +4. All I needed was a FG in OT by either team. Had Seahawks -4 1/2. Lucky to get my Seahawks/Eagles ML Parlay. Overall, a decent weekend that had a lot of parlays miss. Notre Dame ending was huge, made about 40 for the weekend but more importantly avoided disaster.

I lean towards Pittsburgh tonight with all those points. Cowher loves Monday night and Pitt's D can at least contain Indy offense. No way I take Indy giving all those points. Prob. a small play on Pitt with Roth back.
Prob. 20 on Pitt +8 and 20 on Pitt ML just for shits and giggles...

I dont like Pit at all tonite, I think they get hammered.

I'm thinking the line will close at Indy -7.5

If so ill tease to indy -6.5

if not i might just swallow the -8...

either way i like it to go over, this game has shootout written all over it

Yeah, he sure did great AT HOME against THE RAVENS on Monday night this season.

It's smarter to ride a great team than to bet against them, thinking they eventually have to lose a game.

Well, he sure BEAT the RAVENS on Monday night. A win's a win. They don't always come easy. Especially against a division opponent with a good defense. Not great defense like they were, but still pretty good. Just a horrific offense.

How many times has Big Ben lost? I'm pretty sure he's lost twice. I'm also pretty sure that the only team to beat him is the Patriots, winners of 3 out of 4 Super Bowls.

This is a game I'd normally look at and bite hard on Indy. But I've been burned many times by defensive teams like Pats going up against teams like Rams or Colts. I know Colts have a D this year, and that does scare me.

I think Pitt covers, the game goes under, and Pitt possibly wins.

Also, got to think Shula, Csonka, Griese, and company will be somewhere close by with some champaigne. 72 bottles.

Please don't try to use the "a win's a win" argument. The Steelers should have blown the Ravens the fuck out in that game. Baltimore was playing without Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, and ANTHONY WRIGHT was their quarterback for the game. Other good teams haven't had a problem blowing them out. I mean, Jesus Christ, DETROIT blew them out.

Maybe this fact will wake you up...the Ravens have only covered on the road one time this season. At Pittsburgh.
