I figured that they would have had him somehow strike it rich and move to Hawaii or something with Jin Yang acquiring his house. Seems like a bit of a cop out to just know that for each successive season he's just in Tibet getting high on opium the whole time.

They may not like each other but money speaks louder than petty rivalries. He may not be the main character of the show but he is the funniest and one of the most popular. They'll prob have him come back in the series finale.

Yeah when I read the first couple stories about that interview they included the part where he said Middleditch was the funniest guy on the show so you think the interview is complimentary of him, but it's not.

I think some of it is kind of hard to get an accurate read on when just reading the text as opposed to if we were actually hearing him talk. Miller and Middleditch have worked together a ton, which would be kind of strange if they didn't really like eachother, but maybe it's a recent change of feelings

Eh, the big brother-little brother relationship seems like a good summary of it. They're both talented and respect each other, hell I bet they consider each other friends, but clearly they both want to be "the guy" and it's formed a bit of a rivalry. Basically turning them into frienemies.
