anyone know where the guy is who you talk to to begin the mission where you investigate the White Glove Society?

i snuck into the part of the Ultra Luxe thats for WGS only, and they all started chasing me and hitting me with pipes or something...I jumped up on their huge dinner table and that confused them, but all I did was get them mad at me and had to load my game...can I do anything by just getting some nice clothes and a mask somewhere? cause wikia said something about talking to some guy about his missing son, but i dunno where the guy is

^He is the guy in the cowboy hat sitting in the bar when you go into the Ultra-Lux. He has a body guard, who I believe is also wearing a cowboy hat, and a rifle/shotgun. Hard to miss since he is the only guy with a gun in the casino.

were there many npcs on the screen at one time? if so, that is a known issue and you can get a fix depending on your video card:

it's an alternate dll you drop in your install directory. I'm using it and works great, improved fps substantially.

Well, just finished the main quest, siding with the NCR. Great game, other than the occasional framerate drops and freezing once or twice. I preferred this storyline to FO3's.

I think I'll play through it again on hardcore.

Just became vilified by the Legion after holding off on killing those assholes for a while. The random assassin gangs are a bit of a pain, but they're stocked with some pretty valuable weapons and armor.

I tried to outfit Boone in some Legion armor, but he wouldn't have it.

NCR armor = Cool, but fairly generic looking (I haven't gotten any upgrades for him yet).

Legion armor = boone running around blowing the shit out of people in one of their uniforms with the skirt and an animal hat (and aviators) would've been amusing.

The Abilene Kid LE BB Gun, with the following perks: Bloody mess (for +5% dmg), Cowboy (+25%dmg), Finesse, and Better Criticals, along with high Luck (+7) is RIDICULOUS when you land a critical shot. It Does 70*5 Crit Dmg (plus the multipliers from the perks I assume)according to the guide, but on the wikia it says it does 70*1.5... either way I am dropping fools like it ain't no tomorrow with this thing. And Sneak Criticals are even more badass.
