I spent a good part of last night cheating at poker just so I could get caught and gun someone down in the street.

It cracks me up that I can get caught twice in a row, get called out, murder the other 2 card players and then stroll back in and the last guy at the table will still play poker with me. Obviously he got killed too.

I'm surprised that you're honor doesn't take a hit for that.

ok i just took a nun on my horse all the way from mexico to the top of the american map and didnt get the achievement :/

How to Cheat in Poker:

While dealing with the elegant suit on, hit Y to begin cheating. But wait to hit Y until you're dealing the 2nd cards to each player so you don't have to 'cheat' for as long.

As soon as you hit Y, the arrow will probably be pretty far to the right or left side. Push the left stick to move it towards the center, but don't push it so hard that it flies past center and becomes red on the other side. This amount of finesse/touch is the only real thing you need to 'learn' in order to cheat.

If you can hold it roughly in the middle until the end of your deal, a card will pop up on the left side of the screen, which is basically your third card, and you can use it any time to switch with one of your two pocket cards.

Whenever you want to swap out the 3rd card with a pocket card, hit Y to cheat. It will then ask you to hit the left stick either right or left, to indicate which of your two pocket cards you want to exchange. Only once you hit the left stick do you have to again keep an arrow centered. The good thing about this though, is the arrow usually starts closer to center than it does when you are dealing and cheating, so it seems easier to not get caught.

I still get caught every now and then, but only on the deal, NEVER on the swap. And if you successfully cheat on the deal once, you can theoretically only cheat with the 3rd card from that point on. For example if you have an Ace and a 6 and you don't think you'll need the Ace to win the hand, cheat and make the Ace your 'third' card, and save it for when you need it.

Cheating makes the poker games go a lot shorter, because you can call larger bets and raise bets knowing that you have 3 cards plus the river to work with instead of the regular 2.

Holy shit, trying to get to that second gang hideout was a pain. I kept getting hunted down by a posse of 11 year olds. Two seconds after I get there, dweedle blows me up and my connection dies.
