There are theories running out there that these attacks were really influenced by the CIA/Mossad, especially the NOLA one. The motive would be to discredit the rising pro Palestine sentiment and to of course bolster the security state once more since it has been a generation since 9/11 (when we so easily gave up civil liberties).
