I think you can certainly count as a negative the number of Keatts 'commits' that have never made it to campus, especially since a number of them were quite good.

For this guy we'll have to take folks word that he wasn't ready anyway, but having a player on campus is always better than not, especially if you're still counting on him for next class.

I guess its optics as much as anything, he gets credit when landing commitments; mentally we prob SHOULD be -1ing that credit if they never make it to campus.

All in all its not a big deal though bc wins/losses is the only thing that really matters. And shoe game.

Okay he gets a -1 for not getting Parker on campus this season, but can he get a +1 for bringing in enough talent/experience/depth to where Parker would be relegated to end-of-bench scrub minutes?

He’s better than Sam Hunt (who’s his trainer and fellow A&T transfer) and Hunt was a very solid contributor for us. He’ll be able to contribute immediately…definitely a much better situation than having a freshman Parker who, outside of putting up a few posters, probably wasn’t going to make an impact.

This dude put up close to 30 pts @ Houston, for Allah’s sake!

I think Woods and Hunt are very different players. Hunt was a 3 pt specialist. Woods seems much more versatile. But Hunt shot 41.8% on 3 at State. That is a welcome addition to any team.
