I guess its better late than never. We got good value for a RB that was never going to live up to the contract he got, especially with the Panthers issues at QB and OLine.

Now which QB does everyone want use to tank for?

I would prefer Bryce Young over CJ Stroud.

CJ Stroud is incredibly good but I have 0 faith in an OSU QB in the NFL. I know Stroud is different and the past doesn’t predict the future. But damn.

Seems like a solid return for CMC honestly. But it also reminds me how we gave up way too damn much for Darnold

^^^ I disagree. The Panthers need to be in total rebuild mode (at least offensively). Not only do they get an impressive draft pick haul, but they also free up money too. CMC when healthy is one of the best in the league. But RBs are more easily replaceable than other positions and tend to have shorter careers. Without a total rebuild across the board, a healthy CMC really doesn’t do much for this team without a QB and the other holes on the roster. With Darnold/Walker/Baker at QB CMC might add a win or 2 to the schedule but that’s still a 5-12 team.

Sucks to see an exciting, great player go. But it’s the right move.

He just struck me as the least exciting, most polarizing, and also the one dude that shoots up the draft board despite not doing anything particularly great in college but scouts/teams convince themselves he’s gonna be great

^I am pretty sure the No Fun League would say no, not sure they would go with the Panther Blue jerseys or the white jerseys the silver helmet works better with that combo.

If the Panthers schedule was only the NFC South they would be a halfway decent team.

the blue and silver combo is pretty gross and extremely 90’s in the worst way. any excuse to update the primary colors is a good one.
