I think it's hard to overemphasize how shitty the coaching was to begin the season. Plus McAdoo is an absolute garbage OC.

Also I still believe he wouldn't have been quite as shitty if they'd given him all the goddamn reps in practice instead of having a "competition", once again because the coach was an absolute moron who probably thought Darnold would transfer if he didn't get a shot at the job.

This whole season was a goddamn mess and it's incredible that Wilks has been able to actually get some wins. I think it's worth it to give him a shot full time, provided he replaces most of the offensive staff.
