Yeah they made 9 more FTs (attempted 11 more) and 1 more three. FG percentages were even. They out rebounded us in the second half for sure too

Despite what Robbie Hummel says, this offense needs to run through Marcus Hill, not O'Connell. Good things happen when he has the ball. Bad things happen when he doesn't touch it.

I don't need to see O'Connell pump game on a 3 and take one step inside the line to brick another jump shot again.

We need to find a few go to scorers for end of game/end of shot clock situations. Dj Burns and DJ Horne aren’t walking through that door. Huntley Hatfield needs to develop a few post moves. MOC is back to his poor shooting ways from most of last season. Was hoping he would shoot more like he did in March last year. I could see Hill becoming a go to scorer for us, not sure how his 3 pointer is.

O'Connell was a bad shooter for >3.5 years. He had a hell of a heater to end the year last year, but expecting him to suddenly be good at shooting was a pipe dream.

Hill is not a 3 point shooter at all.

Our biggest problem against Texas was our shitty free throw shooting. Even the usually reliable O'Connell sucked at that
