I agree an up and comer would be better...get a guy like Jimmy V that is young and full of fire.

I loved Herb. Mike Brey is a duplicate of Herb, I dare say he would be worse than Herb. Pull up the resume. 6 NCAAs in 10 years. 4 NITs. He wasn't starting from scratch either. One good season does not a coach make. See Hewitt, Paul. Plus I'd be willing to wager they don't make it out of the first weekend. I thought the point was to get better than Herb, no?

big east has been way harder than the ACC the last how ever many years

i dont think he a herb 2.0 per se, but i think he has a little more upside than herb

i mean really its essentially been a two team conference for what the last ~10 years? Im sure Brey could do pretty could going up against the ACC then what he has had to go up against in teh big east.


I really dont give a shit who we get, just as long as the team looks and plays like a team.
