Seen conflicting things on Ross. Sounds like he’s not officially in the portal yet. But would make sense that he’d transfer.

Would be solid I think. Don’t know what to expect from McNeil as a frosh, but he’s a big time scorer in high school. Parker flashed some potential but obviously didn’t play down the stretch. Pass looked passable as a backup PG, but probably don’t want to be counting on him for much if he comes back, so adding another ball handler would be nice (Taylor showed he wasn’t a reliable ball handler).

Ross has came out and said he hasn't decided if he's entering the portal. Pack pride fucked up and said he was leaving.

Regardless, we currently have 1 open scholarship which should absolutely go to the best3 point shooter we can find, regardless of position.

I remembered Morsell as being a decent rebounder but he has some of the lowest numbers from this year's team. Numbers also say DPJ was pretty dang good for his size and MOC/Taylor rebound decent for their position.

Positionally, DJB, DJH, and Casey were our worst rebounder last year.

And since DJB and DJH were also our best scorers, there will be rebounds available!

Yeah I guess not. I truly don’t know. He was signed for the 2023 class and didn’t enroll. Did he sign for 2024? Does he have to sign again? I just didn’t remember/know how firm we thought he was.

I think it would be ideal if Ross transfers. We could use his scholarship on a better player. I have no real reason to think Middlebrooks transfers, but I could see a scenario where he wants to start. And I’m guessing BHH is gonna be the starter. Would be great to keep Middlebrooks. He’s limited offensively but is a pretty ideal back up 5.

I think Middlebrooks will see plenty of minutes at both the 4 and 5.

Ross is clearly the heart and soul of this team. We don't go on this run without his 3 goggles.

Probably shouldn’t be too confident in anybody not transferring. Pass is local and with LJ Thomas gone, there’s at least a role there for him. But def wouldn’t be shocked to see him drop down to a UNCG ish kind of level.

It's 2024 I wouldn't be SHOCKED if anyone outside of MOC and Mo transferred. They seem to have the most solid roles going forward.

Anyone else I could see a reason to be unhappy/unsatisfied and/or recruited over.

lol just now seeing that we’re ranked behind Duke after beating them 2x in the last month. Since the last poll came out Duke lost to State, beat Vermont, JMU, Houston, lost to State again. That was enough to move them up 4 spots and keep them ahead of us. This poll is basically meaningless but kinda bullshit also. Bama jumped from 19 to 3 based on what they did in the conference tournament and NCAAT. Which for them was…lose to Florida in their first SECT game. Then beat a 13 and 12 seed. Then beat UNC and Clemson and lose to UConn. If 25-12 Bama is 3 then how the hell are we not 4? Feels like Clemson should also be higher than 14.

Sounds like there are some legs to the Diarra/Europe rumors. He has a GF back in France and he’s gotten a lot of attention from the Euro sports media over this run (he was constantly retweeting them posting his highlights). Could definitely see him leaving.
