No way, Mellencamp is way cooler than both of them. I was never a huge fan of Plant in Zeppelin, definitely don't care for his solo stuff. But I know he's a legend, so it will be cool to see him. And Kraus is pretty cool.

Charlie Parr was awesome a few weeks ago (and Resonant Rogues from Marshall)

Descendants were great (although it was kinda weird to rock-out to a bunch of love/break-up songs that you related to a few decades ago).

I was going to take my Dad to the outlaw festival last night because we have the lawnie pass but when Willie cancelled, we did too. We would have still enjoyed it but I'm glad I didn't go. It was going to be my only night at home over like a 7 day stretch. I would have been even more wiped.

Similarly, my only night home this week is Wednesday and we will be going to see Red Hot Chili Peppers before waking up and driving to the outer banks for work.

Next month I'm taking my 12 year old to see Lamb of God and Mastodon at Red Hat. Will be his first time in the pit.
