I don't think anyone would give a shit. I mean, I wouldn't want to stay in the exact room, but other than that, I don't see them losing any business.

I'd imagine they turn it into some sort of memorial room or something although this is Vegas and a business so they may just jack up the rate so only people who want to stay there specifically will stay there

Ok so let's take the evidence given into play

Shooter had 12 guns with bump stocks and that's how the shooter sounded automatic

Bump stocks operate basically as an auto weapon in that every trigger pull is a round and every release is a round

So this guy perfectly clicked and released 12 weapons at exact back and forth intervals for over an hour using magazines that max out at 100 rounds? Your finger would wear down and the sounds would be off beat at some point. Try pulling just your finger back and forth on a weapon for that amount of time. I don't know about any conspiracies but that information tells me one of two things. That there was more than one shooter, or that we are being lied to about the type of weapon(s) used.

don't all accounts of surveillance say the shooting lasted for 8-10 minutes or so?

^^One hour??? Where are you hearing that? More like twelve minutes:

Quote :
"The first shots were fired at 10:05 p.m., according to closed-circuit television from the concert venue. The shooting continued for 10 minutes, until 10:15 p.m. Fifty-eight people were killed in the shooting, and 489 injured, Lombardo said.

Lombardo said he doesn't know why Paddock stopped firing, but he "could've kept continued firing, some were jammed but he could've continued."

The first officers arrived on the 31st floor -- one floor below where Paddock was firing -- at 10:12 p.m. Officers arrived at the 32nd floor at 10:17 p.m. Lombardo said it was "phenomenal" they reached the 32nd floor within 12 minutes of when shots rang out."

Sorry I was wrong about that. It lasted 15-20 minutes. But officers were counting 90 shots/10 seconds. I don't think that's possible w/ a bump stock man. I mean it may be for a minute or two. But even for that long of a time with that many rounds it doesn't seem plausible

No, it didn't "sound" automatic. It was automatic.

No, it didn't.

What world are you living in? Every time you post stupid shit like this, we all call you on it, and you ignore the responses, and then post more stupid shit. Where are you reading this dumb shit, because you obviously aren't coming up with it on your own. The fact that you thought the shooting took place over an hour represents a wild disconnect from reality.

What happened to your 30-40 round max magazines? Your stories are all over the place.

Ok wait maybe you're trolling. Did I just get Earl'd? That's not how it works.

That fire rate is clearly possible with a bump stock and yuge magazines.

You can dump a 100 round mag in under 10 seconds with a bump stock. Plenty of YouTube videos of this.

And you're not really moving your trigger finger with a bump stock. The whole gun and trigger move in relation to the trigger finger, but your finger just kinda stays put.

I watched the shooting videos myself. Definitely was 60-70 rounds at a time. Could have been a bump stock. It was hard watching the shit on YouTube but had to for research purposes. Definitely sounded like the shooter was switching from pre loaded gun to pre loaded gun. It was like 10 minutes of shooting. Really hard to watch.

I don't think all of the guns had bump stocks on them; there are pictures of AR15s on bipods in the room that look heavily fired with no bump stocks on them, but I've yet to see a video where it sounds like the firing is semi-auto. I think there were a couple of guns that had lightning links or auto-sears in them, based on the reports that he had guns on bipods and tripods at the window. The pictures of guns with bump stocks on them did not have bipods or tripods on them.

Just saw a video on fb where these guys tested bump stock/vs belt fed. Compared it with rate of fire on the vegas videos and it def sounds closer to belt fed imo

^ Come on dude. How long are you going to do this? Your stupid facebook video shows 30 round magazines. The shooter obviously had much larger mags than that, and probably had drums. You keep saying things sound like something but you obviously have no idea what anything sounds like in this arena.

yes, the unarmed security guard figured out which room it was when he got shot through the door in the leg. he told the cops and they just decided to wait it out because the shooting had stopped

they claimed that once he was located, they wanted to evacuate guests before going in. He had stopped shooting outside, so they apparently thought clearing the hotel before potentially starting a shootout in the hotel was pertinent. He apparently sprayed the security guard with about 200 bullets, so it was probably the right call for SWAT to be cautious about running in guns blazing.

Wow so what happened in the hour between when the shooting stopped and the police breached?

So it didn't "take" them 72 minutes to breach. They were outside his door in like 12ish minutes which evidently caused him to stop shooting. Then they waited him out for the hour because he stopped shooting. I suspect he probably killed himself as they approached his door. Surprised he didn't shoot at them too.

10:05 p.m.: First shots fired by the suspect. This was seen on closed-circuit television from the concert venue.

10:12 p.m.: First two officers arrive on the 31st floor and announce the gunfire is coming from directly above them.

10:15 p.m.: The last shots are fired from the suspect per body-worn cameras.

10:17 p.m.: The first two officers arrive on the 32nd floor.

10:18 p.m.: Security officer tells LVMPD officers he was shot and gives exact location of the suspect's room.

10:26-10:30 p.m.: Eight additional officers arrive on the 32nd floor and begin to move systematically down the hallway, clearing every room and looking for any injured people. They move this way because they no longer hear the gunfire of an active shooter.

10:55 p.m.: Eight officers arrive in the stairwell at the opposite end of the hallway nearest to the suspect's room.

11:20 p.m.: The first breach is set off and officers enter the room. They observe the suspect down on the ground and also see a second door that could not be accessed from their position.

11:27 p.m.: The second breach is set off, allowing officers to access the second room. Officers quickly realize there is no one else in the rooms and announce over the radio that the suspect is down.

http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-las-vegas-shooting-live-updates-why-did-it-take-police-so-long-to-1507174474-htmlstory.html

according to that timeline they knew the location of the shooters room in 16 minutes after the shooting but didn't go directly there because the shooting stopped and wanted to clear nearby rooms. No idea if they guy has a bomb etc

so maybe he killed himself after shooting at the security guard knowing the cops were probably behind him?

Wonder how many of the nearby rooms were occupied? On one hand, if you are in a room and hear automatic gunfire that close, you might gtfo. On the other hand, you might hunker down, thinking leaving would be dangerous.

hard to figure out what a crazy person was thinking, but i can't believe this guy didn't want to engage the police...or maybe he thought he was with the security guard? hard to say how effective his camera setup was at this point.

I'm sure it does. If he fired 200 rounds in the hallway wouldn't people have witnessed it? Bullets would have to tear into someone's room. I imagine he was up there by himself by this point, but there hasn't been any dialogue about other guests staying near him. Were they evacuated? I know the people videotaping from a few floors up weren't.

I saw some fake news shit post last night that said the MSM was trying to suppress a report that someone staying in the room next to him could provide more information on the shooter.

but they reported he heard gun fire, exited the hotel and hid in the bushes waiting for the cops.

which makes zero sense to me, but I've never been in an active shooter environment.

Not necessarily. Especially with suites/larger rooms, there isn't always a room across the hall, and odds are probably low people would have been in it even if so.
