So I recognized her in the mugshots this morning...

Can someone explain how this girl was crazy? I never paid attention to her at all. What was so crazy about her? Serious question.

Also, I doubt she'll see jail time, considering she has no priors. They'll put her on probation for a number of years and she'll have to do all this rigamarole that gets the State income essentially, but jail time is probably unlikely. I really don't know anything about these types of crimes, nor the combination of three felonies being charged, so it's just a hunch though.

Don't commit felonies, folks...

If you can't pass your drug tests, how does probation handle that? Do you just stay on probation for the rest of your life, as they keep making you take tests and extending the probation when you inevitably fail?

Or do they eventually give up and let you go or put you in jail/prison?

Failing multiple drug tests won't generally result in extending probation. Multiple positive screens (or in some cases just one) will result in either arrest or citation to court which can lead to range of punishments up to and including revokation of probation and activating their suspended sentence.

for the felonies, that's just her first appearance date. if she didn't bond out, her bond was reviewed, and if she did bond out last night, then she was required to return for her first appearance. there she was informed of her rights to counsel and given a court date for the felonies (most likely corresponding with the misdemeanor charge).

i don't even know who this chick is, but just in case you wanted to better follow along with the trials and tribulations of this random woman.
