I get it, NCSU is never going to contend for a national championship. It's not even reasonable to expect NCSU to compete for an ACC championship.

There are quite a few that run "no huddle" offenses. There are almost (or possibly) zero that run a high paced no huddle. It is extremely, extremely rare for a college QB to have authority/ability to call their own plays which is a requirement for the type of offense you're asking for. There definitely aren't a dozen or more college QBs doing this

^^i wouldn’t call myself a fan boy, but I’ve been a supporter. Mostly think what he’s done is under appreciated. I certainly don’t think he’s some fantastic coach that never deserves criticism. But I do lol at the people that seem to get joy out of him losing games.

Eh. We didn’t blitz and they scrambled to pick up a 4th and 9 earlier right? I didn’t think the call was that bad. Their QB just made a play. They were awful vs the blitz most of the game I thought.

Why? Only 3-4 teams that consistently compete for that. The rest that pop in and out (of success) are a crap shoot. And we can't even manage that. And the whole point of these few sentences is to reinforce that, outside of 1-2 teams, the ACC has been a mediocre conference for well over a decade.

One of the biggest gripes I have with Dave, and it may just be the nature of being a mediocre ACC team, is that he can't put together a complete team.

The years where he recruits offense heavy, his defense sucks. Years where the defense is good, the offense is bad. When O&D are decent, special teams sucks.
